This is a quick character test to try out some manga style modelling in Curvy.

I build the head out of four Curvy Lathes as you can see below. Then I s-merged them and sculpted a little bit on top (not a lot - the basic shape was correct from the first shapes).
Curvy 2's auto-cap ends feature made the initial lathe drawing much simpler as I didn't have to line all the curves up.

The hair is a Lathe, s-merged on its own to increase resolution then I used the Widget Move tool with a small radius to pull out hair spikes.

The coat is a simple s-merge of three lathes for the body/arm/collar with some sculpting tools for detailing. This was really just thrown together to go with the head - but I think it works well as a quickie prop.

very creative and nice work flow.
Curvy really encourages art in the 3d world rather than just technical construction
