Vector Displacement Painting

I use iClone quite a bit. It's my favorite 3D animation software and it just keeps getting more powerful with each release.

The newest version is iClone 6 which adds the ability to use displacement mapping to create detailed models from low-poly meshes. The tutorials use ZBrush because of its support of vector displacement painting. Is this something that Curvy3D can do? It seems that Curvy is already using vectors to generate shapes but I'm not certain this is the same thing. Not certain if I'm making any sense since most of this is a bit above my head.

On a slightly separate note, I currently own Curvy 3D v2. What's the upgrade policy for getting version 3?

Thanks as always,
Pierre

Curvy allows for texture based displacement using "Curvy Maps" but this does not support lo-res meshes, you have to upres them yourself to use with the Curvy Maps.
