I'd like to see this converted to a game asset via Character Creator or similar!

Re: Flaming Sorceror
I may have mistakenly thought that this was post-processed or rendered in blender. I initially assumed all of the gallery posts were directly from Curvy. Once I learned that many were rendered in blender I was no longer sure what could be done just in Curvy itself. Sometimes I think I can tell, some...

Re: Flaming Sorceror
Is this a new feature? I requested something similar once IIRC. I'd still eventually like to see Curvy work more as a non-photorealistic standalone program. Always thought it would be perfect for people making 2D games but using 3D models, and for making things like icons, emojis, avatars... This ef...

Re: Brom Fan Art
Hate to always ask the same question, but are these images from Curvy or rendered in another program?
Great work either way.

Re: Dragon Goblet
This looks great! Unfortunately, I still can never tell when you are posting images made in Curvy and when you are posting Curvy models rendered in blender. I know you were working on a new material system and lighting rigs, but have not noticed any new beta releases. I can see Curvy's potential for...

Re: Curvy 4 vs 5 Beta
If you go for Voxel Tier you effectively get 4.1 included anyway, so using the Demo for a month (version 4.0) then upgrading to the 5 Beta is a good route. If you want to get the latest development news join the Patreon at Tier Pixel, and then upgrade to Voxel when you want to use the Beta. If I am...

Curvy 4 vs 5 Beta
Somehow missed that there was a Curvy 5 beta program, as I keep seeing new features appearing for version 4. So I have a few questions... When will version 4 development cease if version 5 development is well under way? What are the major features planned to separate version 5 from version 4? I had ...

Re: Realtime Ambient Occlusion
I wasn't really hoping for a full renderer, just a more modern viewport. I'm looking at programs like Toolbag, 3D-Coat etc. Bokeh as a post effect is a workable solution, but was thinking of the kind of DoF you see in games from 10+ years ago and newer. I like that Curvy's interface reminds me more ...

Re: Realtime Ambient Occlusion
I would love to see more improvements to the viewport and final output. Curvy models look very nice when rendered in e.g. blender, but I'd like to be able to use Curvy for an entire project also just to save time converting everything.
Things like DoF/Bokeh, more light types would be enticing as well.

Re: Floating City [Tempest Citadel]
This is an image from Curvy? Or was it sent back to blender after texturing in Curvy?

Re: RPG Inventory Icons - Curvy 3D 4.0
This should be one of the first images a visitor to http://www.curvy3d.com sees, IMHO.
Any estimate of the total time spent making all of these items?

Re: Game Art & Level Design
Ha ha, I guess I should just come out ask the question that is on my mind... If some of the items are made in Curvy, and some were imported into Curvy, how close could I get to making this same image in Curvy? How different would the models look in Curvy compared to in these screens? Could I do the ...

Re: Game Art & Level Design
Obj is my format of choice also. I have used it primarily since working in Poser/Wings 3D for years now. I've moved away from Poser for figures, but ironically still use it to render imported objects for use in a 2D game. I'm trying to get myself into blender, but like zBrush and 3D-Coat it is just ...

Re: Game Art & Level Design
The OP says the layout of the pieces was done in Curvy also. So it's possible to import models from other programs into Curvy? Can they be edited and painted also? I'm just asking because I see Curvy as having potential for concepting and roughing out ideas before exporting to another program for re...

Re: Game Art & Level Design
So these aren't screenshots from Curvy, but rather a game using assets prepared in Curvy?
