Hard Surface Modeling

I have been trying to do some practice with hard surface modeling in curvy, but I've been kinda unsuccessful in doing so. Although, I've seen various models in the gallery of others archiving this. So I was wondering could someone help me with some tips and methods.

I tried out the demo version and messed around with it. It was pretty sweet, but I didn't truly commit alot of time to...

Curvy 3D: 40 minutes (merging and all) Zbrush 3: 1 hour 25 minutes ..... what can I say... Curvy ROCKS!!! I put more detail in the curvy mesh this time which really translated to an easier time when sculpting. I remember I tried doing something like this in zbrush... but working with the Zsphere's a...

I'll definately post this on the Zbrush and Mudbox forums as well ( especially since I don't think Mudbox user's have a method to create base meshes like in Zbrush-Zspheres). Just to say, this program definately speeds up my process. In alpha stage, this is pretty dang solid. Has yet to crash on me ...

The base mesh in curvy took about 15 minutes ( no sketch or anything that I worked with). Sculpt took about 1 hour 50 minutes. This program creates a very smooth continuious base mesh... man if I had this a while back, would have help to speed up alot of work. Also, I dont know why in curvy the coat...
