I love this update on the flying creature - having 3 in the same picture gives a much better feel of the design of the beastie.

If you increase the resolution of each part before Merging you can get a smoother surface without the blocky edges.

(Of course if you want blocky edges you can also reduce the resolution!)

Coffee Muse

My three Coffee Muses in the steam. I modelled the cup and steam in curvy and imported some Poser models for the Muses.

It is much easier to see the 3D effect in the avi - looks like a magic eye picture, the 3D just jumps out of the screen. Very cool.

This is my own engine, StormRaid (Based on DirectX), and it has AI agents written in C++. I use a fairly simple little Finite State Machine to drive their aggressive behaviour mixed with a Flocking Algorithm to stop them colliding into each other. It is a long way from perfect - I think the horses s...

Yeah, it would have taken days without that Curvy + Meshlab magic!

The animation itself was made in another program I wrote to help with making games - it is optimised as a character rigger/animator, very fast to use but not so user-friendly as Curvy ;)

And here is a go at the walk cycle:

It's early days for the animation - but the Lo-Poly model is holding up well under the strain.
I am planning for these to appear fairly small on the screen so they can be a bit rough :)
