Sometimes Booleans are overkill, and you just want to cut a shape down a bit. You can now Trim you model with a curve.

This is similar to the "Fit to" mesh commands from 3.0, but will only remove volume - and so acts like a cut operation.

This is actually amazing! Don't believe it, but I already wanted to propose a new "Cut Off" brush. This is a super method to produce hard surface objects.
