Misc

Post by Simon »

I'm going to log smaller changes here:

Added a Spin Tool, that rotates an object around it's longest axis. useful for posing and positioning things that are not lined up with the normal widgit axes.

Draw Curve Details is much more robust now, letting you draw and extend the ends of curves more reliably.

Align Curve Ends and Smooth Curve now work as you would expect on Curves with Closed Ends and treat the curve as if it was a closed loop.

Soft Move and Soft Rotate now work with Mirror Sculpt.

Hires Screenshot has better quality and higher available resolutions (Around 8k before anitialiasing)

I'm doing a lot of animation using curvy and bones right now. the spin tool and mirror sculpt have been wishes of mine for a while.

I'm considering adding optional pivot points - so if you like you can fix a rotation point between an object and it's parent (probably with an initial position of where the models overlap). A bit like bones, but with less setup, and working on separate objects rather than a whole mesh.
