Clay brush does not work correctly along the X axis.
Clay brush does not work correctly along the X axis.
Hello! I discovered that the Clay brush does not work correctly along the X axis - it removes Clay instead of adding it. Or am I doing something wrong?

This can happen with double sided objects like the Loft. If you sculpt on the back side of the object the sculpting effect is reversed.

This happens when sculpting the head.

It seems to be linked to "Mirror Sculpt" mode. I will investigate - thanks for the bug report!

I recommend sculpting with "Mirror Sculpt" turned off for Clay and Flatten brushes - then use "Mirror [Ctrl+M]" to make the object symmetrical.
I will continue working on a fix for "Mirror Sculpt", but it won't be soon.

Correction: this brush does not work only in the adaptive subdivision mesh, it works in the normal mesh.
