Why trial version is not relevanty? (Actually version 4.1)??? Also, is the program developed by one person or a team of developers? And pls add deform tool from "EasyToy" and some tools from "Geomagic freeform"

The free trial is being updated to a new version - it will take a while as I am adding some new features to make it easier to learn.

Thanks for the software tips - I will take a look.

EasyToy deform - you can do a similar deform with Deform on Rails (with two rails) in Curvy, but I do like the simplicity of their interface for that.

Anything specific from Geomagic - I wantched their trailer and apart from all the CAD features (that I don't want to do) can't see much.

Sadly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbzQ_yXEEb was unavailable.

Deform with a control cube looks cool, can manage more 3D deforms than Curvy's rails deform.

Teya looks interesting, again - good tip, thanks! Again you can do similar effects in Curvy with arrays and rails... but putting it all together as a simple brush stroke is very nice. Could see myself ussing that for ropes and chains... with the benefit that in Curvy their curves would stay editable so you can tweak and clone different variations easily.

It is developed by one person. If you want frequent updates (every few months) then you can join the beta. Otherwise updates are yearly or longer.

At the moment I'm working on some new mesh deform tools - for the latest progress I am on instagram https://www.instagram.com/curvy3d/ look at the Celtic Knots story on my profile.
