Sometimes I want to add thickness to a 2D painted figure and drop it onto an arbitrary object.
I know that you can do this with external painting software other than Curvy3D, but sometimes it's difficult to use external painting software to create shapes that match the objects you're creating with Curvy3D.
No matter what angle Curvy3D is displayed on, I think it would make modeling easier if you could paint in 2D on the surface shown on the monitor, add thickness to it, and then drop it.

Re: 2D paint
To make clothes on the surface of another object...
Copy the object
Use "Mesh/SliceBy/Curve"
Draw your shape
Bake Action
"Mesh/Detach"
"Mesh/Thicken"
Delete the rest of the object that was created when you detached
