Curtains - Playing with AO and Sculpties

Post by Simon »

Trying out a plane type Sculpted Prim using Sculptie Export in Curvy. This image is a screen grab from Second Life. Original model was simply a Curvy Loft object with baked ambient occlusion in Curvy.

That looks really nice, Simon! I'm curious, how did you get the ambient occlusion to bake so well in Curvy? Any tips you can share? I'm also interested in how you set up the sculptie export. Did you have any issues with seams or distortions?

Can't remember how I did the AO... it was 15 years ago!

Might find some sculptie tips in these videos:

Not even sure if Second Life still uses Sculpties, I thought they moved on to regular meshes these days.
